Dear CandyMan Fashion,
Can you please keep this anonymous? I just had to share how my shopping experience took an unexpected turn!
Last year, I ordered one of your pieces—the CandyMan 99140 thong. I was so excited when it arrived, imagining how bold and unique it would look. But then I noticed something I hadn’t expected: the front zipper didn’t go all the way up. I hadn’t realized that was part of the design. At first, I felt annoyed and even a little disappointed. When someone from your store explained that it was intentional, I couldn’t shake my frustration. So, I tossed it into the back of my closet, convinced it was a mistake I’d never wear.
Fast forward to a couple of months later, around Halloween, I got invited to a themed party at a club—think daring, edgy, and full of over-the-top outfits. It was the kind of event where you could really go for it. I wasn’t sure what to wear, but then that thong popped into my mind. I hesitated at first, remembering how annoyed I’d been, but something about the occasion made me think, "Why not give it another chance?"
I decided to build a look around it, pairing it with some leather accessories I already had—harnesses, cuffs, and, to really push the limits, a pair of leather cowboy chaps. The combination felt bold, edgy, and just the right amount of daring. When I saw the full outfit in the mirror, it clicked. The zipper detail, which I’d hated at first, actually added a unique vibe that made the look stand out even more.
Walking into the club that night was something else. It wasn’t about being the boldest person in the room or turning heads—it was about how I felt. For the first time in a long time, I felt completely at ease in my skin, like I was reclaiming a part of myself I hadn’t tapped into before.
What started as frustration turned into something I never expected—a chance to feel powerful, confident, and completely in control. That piece went from being a regret to my secret weapon, all because I took a chance on it again.
Thank you for creating designs that challenge the norm and encourage people like me to step out of their comfort zones. Sometimes, it’s those unexpected details that end up making the biggest impact. Now I am your biggest fan!
